Programs that are worth your time and money

This page explains clearly what Algoworks offers, how it differs from other online options, and what students say about the experience.

→ Overview

Six things that matter when choosing a course

Human feedback on your work

A course educator writes specific comments on your submitted notebooks. You receive observations about your code structure, reasoning, and areas to revisit — not just a pass/fail score.

Clear week-by-week structure

Each program has a defined outline published before enrolment. You can read what each week covers before you commit, and follow the same outline throughout the course.

Practical notebooks you keep

The hands-on exercises in every program produce notebooks in your own name. When the course ends, those files are yours — they form a practical record of what you have built.

Live mentor sessions (ML and Capstone)

The Applied ML Pathway and AI Engineering Capstone include regular video office hours with the program mentor. You can ask about your specific code, not just general theory.

Priced in Thai Baht

All programs are priced in THB. Payments are processed locally, and the price shown is what you pay — no foreign transaction fees or exchange rate uncertainty.

Realistic time commitments stated

The course pages give a per-week hour estimate. These figures have been checked against actual student experience — they reflect what the work genuinely takes, not what sounds appealing.

Expertise

Programs written by practitioners

The Algoworks curriculum was written by engineers who worked in data and machine learning roles before they moved into education. The content reflects what the field actually uses — not just what appears in academic textbooks from a few years ago.

  • Curriculum reviewed and updated each year
  • Python versions and libraries kept current
  • Real project context, not toy examples only

Years in practice (founding team average)

8+

across data engineering, ML, and software development roles in Bangkok, Singapore, and Chiang Mai

Feedback turnaround

5

working days for written feedback on submitted notebooks, in every program

Feedback quality

Comments that help you think differently

The feedback on your submitted work is written by the instructor who knows the program. Comments address specific decisions in your code — where you chose a less efficient approach, where your logic works well, and what to revisit before the next notebook.

  • Section-by-section rather than summary only
  • References to specific lines or functions
  • Suggestions for what to explore further

Support

Questions answered by the people who built the course

When you have a question during a program, you contact the instructor by email. Responses come from someone who knows the specific notebook you are working on, not from a support team with no technical context.

  • Direct email access to program instructor
  • Response within two working days
  • Video office hours in ML and Capstone programs

What you will not find at most other schools

01Capstone panel presentation

The AI Engineering Capstone ends with a presentation to a panel of three educators. This is not a graded exam — it is a conversation about your project. The panel asks questions, you explain your choices, and you get feedback on both the technical work and how you communicated it.

02Checkpoint code reviews (Capstone)

At four points during the Capstone program, a mentor reviews your actual code repository — not just the final output. This happens at planned intervals so problems are caught early, not at the end when they are harder to address.

03Three portfolio projects (ML Pathway)

The Applied ML Pathway produces three separate project notebooks over fourteen weeks. Each addresses a different problem type. By the end, you have a small portfolio of concrete, varied work that you can show to other developers or employers.

04Bangkok time zone, Thai context

Mentor sessions are scheduled around ICT (UTC+7). The school was built for learners in Thailand and Southeast Asia. This means no 3am calls, no foreign payment friction, and examples that reflect the kind of data environments common in the region.
